The typical form of digestive tuberculosis
Author(s): Yassine Mohamed and Ait Laalim Said
Abstract: We report the case of a 23-year-old girl, who consulted for chronic abdominal pain associated with weight loss of 10 kg, anorexia and night sweats evolving in a context of deterioration in general condition.
Clinical and paraclinical investigations were unable to resolve the diagnosis (cancer Vs peritoneal disease).
The RCP decided to do a mini peri-umbilical laparotomy for biopsies (laparoscopy was impossible given the adhesions).
Pathology came back in favor of peritoneal tuberculosis.
